I have never been to a yoga class before, is it OK to start now?
Yes, the class is very gentle and is suitable for beginners.
Do I need to bring any equipment?
No, everything is provided. Just bring yourself and your baby.
What shall I wear?
Don’t forget that you will be doing yoga too so whilst dresses look lovely they can be a little impractical in class. Wear loose, comfortable clothes. Jogging bottoms or leggings are good.
What age baby is this class suitable for?
You are welcome to come along from the day your baby is born as the yoga is very gentle. However most babies under 3 months still need to be feed regularly and held a lot so you may choose to wait until things settle down. If you can get yourself washed, fed and to the class on time, you are probably ready!
You are welcome to keep coming to the class until your baby is mobile.
How much are the classes?
The classes are £7 each and need to be paid for in each half term block. This can be done on this website.
Why do I need to pay half termly?
Unfortunately, this is the only way that I know I can afford to run the classes. It also means that everyone in the half term block will get to know each other better and many new friendships are born in this way.
Can I try the class to see if I like it?
I am happy for you to pay for your first class on a drop in basis. Please let me know if you plan to come along and bring £7 with you. After this you will need to pre book.
What if I only want to pay for part of the term?
If there are spaces, I am happy for you to start half way through a block of spaces. Please email me if you wish to do this.
What if I need to feed my baby or change their nappy during the class? Or what if they start crying?
If you manage a whole hour of yoga without any of the above happening, you will be the first! You may find that you need to stop and feed your baby or change their nappy. You may even want to get up and walk around with your baby, or even go outside for a while. All of these things are a normal part of the class. I will continue teaching and you can join in with as much or as little as you and your baby are happy to.
