Bridget Woods Kramer and Bill Mahony Yoga Retreat
Portugal, November 14-20, 2025
Following on from the success of the 2024 retreat, we have decided that if a retreat was that good then we should definitely do it again and I am so very pleased to announce the dates for 2025.
Bridget Woods Kramer
Bridget Woods Kramer is one of the UK’s leading yoga teachers. Her continued self practice for over 50 years is evident in not only her asana practice but also her very presence. Bridget started teaching in 1988 and has since taught to students of all ages and abilities (including a few celebs along the way!) She is a well known and well loved teacher in both Cornwall and in London where she taught at Triyoga for many years; in 2012 she was voted as one of the top 5 teachers in London by the Evening Standard. Bridget has a gift for alignment – she is unparalleled in her ability to read each unique body. She is also known for her humour – expect to laugh and not to take yourself too seriously as well.
Bill Mahony
Bill Mahony is known in yoga communities across the continents for his warm, lively and compassionate teaching that is accessible to contemporary yoga students at all levels as well as to those interested in deepening their spiritual lives in other ways. Bill integrates his deep knowledge of yoga philosophy with insights refined over nearly five decades of his own yogic practice. He shares with participants the expansive and transforming wisdom he finds in the splendid texts he studies, and he guides participants in ways they can fruitfully apply these perspectives in their own lives.
The Location

We loved this venue so much is 2024, it was one of the reasons that we knew that we had to come back! The venue is a 275 acre farm on the coast of Southern Portugal. The farm grows much of it’s on food (which is quite possibly the best retreat food I’ve ever had,) it has a beautiful freshwater lake and is only 10 minutes from beautiful stretches of untouched coastline.
You can find out more about the venue here: https://www.cocoonportugal.com/ (although I please ask that you direct any questions about the location to me initially as it may be something that I have already asked them.)

Travel to and from the site
The retreat site is a 2 hour drive from Lisbon airport and 1.5 hours drive from Faro airport.
The most cost effective and practical option is to hire a car for a car share, for a group of 4 students prices start at £35 for 6 days. Having a car whilst you are at the site will also allow you to drive to the coast (it’s a 10 minute drive.) If you let me know which airport you are arriving at and the day and time of your flight, I can pair you up with other people arriving on the same day as you.
Ubers are approximately 100-150 euros each way, again I can put you in touch with other people arriving and departing on the same day if you would prefer to get a taxi.
